    .. .. ..Current Lineup...... Guitar/Bass/Vocals - Kurt Kettler.. .. .. .. ..BIO...... ..AnathematizeD started in 2004 in a cold, unheated garage, with shitty equipment. A drummer and guitar player who had no idea that anything would ever come out of a weekend jam...typical story. Heavily influenced by early thrash metal and by plenty enough black metal artists, AnathematizeD geared up (with shitty equipment) and went to work practicing and playing anywhere they could. Bars full of old people, pubs with many fellow intoxicated scene supporters, basements.....more cold, unheated garages, barns...any place that didn't end the night with legal troubles. A poorly funded demo in (2005), a few shows between then and now, hangovers, re-locations, and a handful of line up changes since 2004 made it difficult for AnathematizeD to gain establishment as a functional/working band in any scene. A short stint in Alberta was only long enough to meet a creative and supportive musician from Calgary (Adam Hwang) and record a few rough tracks but nothing more. Returning to home to Ontario, founding member (Kurt Kettler) jammed with a few local musicians and managed to play a few rough shows in 2010 but due to several complications once again put the band on hiatus. During the summer of 2011, Kurt Kettler, with some help from ex-drummer Adam Hwang, picked up the axe and began recording a new AnathematizeD demo on his own.. determined to finish what he started in a cold garage with shitty equipment. It's safe to say AnathematizeD is a one man project in early 2012 but has made more progress, recording wise and musically, in the last 8 months than it ever did before. Thus far in 2012, a new AnathematizeD demo has surfaced, mainly consisting of tracks between 2005 - 2009 and with another release of brand new material just around the bend, you can be sure to expect more exciting news from the dark realm of AnathematizeD before the year is through. .... .................... ...................... .... .. ........
