9 Feb 2010 00:31Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My spirits are way very way low. was on phone or my g/f was all afternoon with my dr. Not good at all. The nodes there are alot more than they thought Friday they found alot. One is 4 cm, 2-2 cm, 3.0 cm and 1.6 cm. The 2;2 cm is inthe middle of the throat and positive fro cancer also. There is a high risk with the surgery cause they say it can damage the nerves in the throat and possible (huge) Ill never have a voice again!!were is my hockey husband eh were is my hockey player that keep me warm in CANADA?/ Ya i owe u that story eh??? Its my life iam supposed to be in Vancouver for two weeks not fighting for my life eh?? Iam sad the tears want stop. Think of me iam always thinking of all of you!!! 8 Feb 2010 17:53WINTER OLYMPICS 2010Western Canadian artist, Robert Jones, started painting in 1985 after he developed an interest in art and architectural illustration. He was an illustrator for six years and had the opportunity to develop skills in architectural layout, water media and airbrush techniques. Robert was born and raised on Vancouver’s North Shore, which instilled in him a great love of the outdoors and the natural beauty it encompasses. Whether it is sailboats on coastal waters, skiers on Whistler’s slopes, or alpine meadows in the Canadian Rockies, Robert finds the spirit of the West to be his focal point and inspiration. Robert’s painting process is a time consuming, but effective task. First, he photographs and conceives the image, then breaks the scene down to its basics, interpreting the landscape into graphic shapes with a deliberate approach to detail. Drawing first in pencil and then piece by piece masking and airbrushing in acrylic, building the smooth, rich cascade of color into a wonderful landscape with a final high-lighting of brushwork. Utilizing color in thin layers and in the most intense and brilliant shades, saturates the work and gives the impression that they are lit up from behind. During February 2010, the Winter Olympics will be held at Whistler BC. A number of Roberts’s works depict the mountains around the town.
