BIOGRAPHY

Arietta are a five-piece from Toronto who exist on the middle ground between arena rock ambition and indie sensibility. Equal parts pop songwriting and technical musicianship, the band is impossible to pigeonhole, finding inspiration in everything from radio pop and film scores to free jazz and math rock. Simultaneously catchy, challenging, contemplative and confrontational, Arietta draws from everything to create music that is not easily comparable to anything.
