Gov had early studio experience which in turn boosted his love for music and his passion to entertain and over the years he has grown into a great musician. Gov’s creativity enables him to go beyond your typical music formula. Besides writing and producing his own music, Gov has been able to arrange and produce music for many industry artist such as AZ, E40, Lil Scrappy and local Detroit artist Royce Da 5’9. Even though Gov has never taken a music lesson you will never have known by listening to his beats. The breadth of his talent reaches far beyond just a musical artist. He has produced music (“Rags to riches” from the game,“NBA ballers”) for popular video game conglomerate Midway Games, and his music is currently being featured on the hit MTV comedy show Yo Momma and reality tv series Run’s House. You can also be on the look out for his debut role as an actor in the yet to be released feature film Envy starring Desmond Walker, Lisa Rae, Maia Campbell, AZ, and RAY J, and many others. Currently you can find Gov doing open mic shows around the city of Detroit and performing at major events around the country. With one compilation album Storm of the Century with local Detroit record label D Boy Records and the yet to be released album Cry now Laugh Later through In R Circle Records, Gov is finally ready to branch out and make the kind of music that the streets want to hear. With singles like Getting Money and How You Feel Gov is destined to be a sure fire hit with the mainstream.
