Bio
Founded in 1992 buy Ron Dyleski guitar, Chris Fohner vocals, Chris O'Hare drums, and Rob Hiles bass, Concrete Garden set out to write Metal that was worthy of the various influences that the seperate band members brought in. Shortly after the first show while trying to write material Chris O' left the band and in came Mike Calabrese. this lineup would be responsible for the writing of most of the songs used throughout the years in our set list. This is also the lineup that opened for Dio at Rainbow Gardens in April of 1996. as this was the last show with Mike, so enter Louie Rice. This lineup was also productive until about 1999 or 2000 whenever it was that there was a cessation of hostilities in Rons dungeon. However, this band has spawned some very different bands formed by the former band members. Necropolis saw Ron and Chris, along with longtime rythm guitarist Trent, (who was part of an ill fated attemt to re unify the Garden) have proven that there was a Very Dark side to what was being done with the Garden. Chris has matured as a vocalist, and added haunting keyboards to the mix, and Ron's guitar work has never sounded so melodic yet powerfull, this is a metal quintet that demands your attention. Domicile, Louie and Mike Knoll, with John Muroski, and Jason Blake went out on the warpath to see how many craters would be left behind after their metal rampage. Strait forward metal brutallity here, no frills, no gimmicks, just raw power. Then there was Whiplash, this was Mike Calabrese playing the part of his biggest influence, Lars, in a Metallica tribute band, these guys can kick some serious ass. And last but not least Rob Hiles has gone on to do a solo project entitled HEILZ, with some help from some international friends Rob plans a C.D. to be released in late 2009. All of these bands have my space pages, so look them up, give a good listen, and you'll definately hear that the Garden is inside all of these truely varied but unique metal bands. This will be updated with more info, and maybe some better recordings at a later date. Thank you for reading and listening. Stop by again and bring a friend. -
