the way this works is through out the month on Thursday bands will be asked to perform in front of judges an myself JAY SICK, the band that wins on Thursday gets there CD PLAYED ON STREET PATROL out of the 16 to 20 bands that play through out the month 5 will be asked to perform on the following months last Saturday WSOU EXPOSURE SHOW THE WINNER OF THAT SHOW GETS A INTERVIEW ON STREET PATROL AND MUSIC THROWN IN TO STREET PATROL ROTATION which means a big party
Bands playing these shows get recognition from WSOU DJ'S CHANCES TO HAND DEMO'S TO THE RITE PEOPLE AND A SOCIAL NETWORK OF BANDS THAT SUPPORT ONE AND OTHER . The purpose of these shows are so that we can together raise a scene and have a night we can be proud of this night is all about you the bands and nj's music scene .When i was a kid i used to go see PANTERA at the convention hall in asbury some of my best memories in life are from these shows i was scared i was amazed i was apart of something so real and so powerful now i can give those feelings back to people now i can help give local bands that power
