    Dram_J AKA DJ Ramy aka Ramy Yaqout..Egyptian born in Kwait, lived and travelled across the world from Kuwait to the USA, Spain, Japan, Holland, Bahrain back to the C Town- Cairo, Egypt I’ve been a DJ since 1997 and a key figure in the Hip Hop scene in and around Egypt. Music has always been a way of living and a big part of my life since day one. It’s been part of my soul, and in my blood, being raised by my parents, who are both music teachers. They were the first to install the value and notion in me that music transcends borders, cultures, races, religions, and languages. It’s the international language and it’s a language that we all speak. I’ve played hundreds of local/International scenes (Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Holland) and played along side with international artists like Outlandish, Pete Philly and many other local Hip Hop bands like the Egyptian/Middle Eastern best underground band, Arabian Knightz, Weghet Nazar, MC Amin, etc. Appearing on MTV Arabia and DJ'ing for Beit El Hip Hop Finale, was one of my most recent career highlights. I learned much from the experience, both about the music scene, the industry, and the people who love it. It's my ability to manipulate music that has given me the edge to also create and produce alongside with (Fredwreck aka Faried Nassr,Pete Philly). Working as a DJ, sound manager and co-producer for Arabian Knightz has influenced the style of music I like to play and record. It’s a passion that I hold dear and continue to strive to always become better at. Working alongside with many influential people in the business and managing sound for such bands as Arabian Knightz, I have also decided to re-ignite my passion for choreographing, as I truly believe that dancing and making music go hand in hand. Feel the Vibe, feel the bass! I have an incredible desire to succeed and make people happy. Knowing that my creations are making people move, and feel alive, is what gives me the energy to keep moving forward and being the best that I can be. I am grateful to all my teachers, past, present, and future, and hope that with God’s will, I can keep transcending borders with my music and keep the beats alive.
