The news we have been waiting to tell you all! We can now confirm that the new Dropkick Murphys album entitled "Going Out In Style" will be available in stores and online on Tuesday March 1st 2011.
We are very excited for you all to check out what we believe is our best record yet and we can't wait to play all the new songs for you. This will mark the 7th Dropkick Murphys album release and will be our first album of new material in over three years!

We wanted to let you guys know to be on the look out for a great new movie called "The Fighter"http://www.thefightermovie.com/ which will be in theaters starting next week. “The Fighter” is based on the life and career of our pal Micky Ward and his brother Dicky Ecklund http://dickeklund.com/. Micky is one of the greatest boxers to ever come out of Massachusetts. You may recognize him from the front cover of our album "The Warriors Code". We wrote a song about Micky with that same title and named the album in his honor. Micky has been a great supporter of the Dropkick Murphys and of our charity foundation the Claddagh Fund and has attended all of our events. He also does great work through his own charity, Team Micky Ward Charities http://teammickywardcharities.com/.
