Franz Hlusek aka Fast Distance is currently one of the most successful new trance producers in Belgium and has been heralded by Armin van Buuren as “one of my favourite trance artists". .. .. He was taking music lessons at a very early age. Due to his quick musical development and growing inspiration, Franz’ parents bought him his first keyboard when he was eleven years old. .. .. Instantly drawn to the trance sound when it emerged in Belgium in the nineties, he started mixing tracks together using his father’s hardware and performing at various small club events. .. .. When he turned 18 he bought a synthesizer and turntables, and soon after started building a professional studio to engineer and record his own productions. .. ..
