About the only thing that you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They invent. They imagine. They heal.
They explore. They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.
Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that's never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on
While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.

About me:
GiveMeaning is a place for anyone who gives a damn about something and wants to do their part for the something they care about.
Founded by Tom Williams (who at 14, dropped out of Junior High School to move to Silicon Valley where he helped invent the online music industry for Apple Computer), GiveMeaning takes the pain, frustration and hassle out of both fundraising and donating to the causes you care about.
There are over 1000 projects at GiveMeaning.com covering almost every imaginable cause and spanning the globe from Accra, Ghana to Yellowknife, NWT.
Each project hosted at the site focuses on achieving a specific, tangible outcome. From there, donors are able to see blog updates, photos, and other media showing exactly how their donation is making a difference.
We are the only organization that forwards 100% of the funds collected (even covering the credit card costs) associated with each donation, and privacy is totally and absolutely assured.
Check out this recently completed project started by a group of young soccer players from Victoria, BC.

Featured Project: Homes for the Helpless
Project Goal: $18,000.00
Founder: Terri Polet
Women and children in the Mexico 70 Slum of San Vicente are living in
desperate circumstances as a result of their country’s economic
policies, and a lack of government infrastructure.
Donations to this project will help build a four-plex shelter for
women and their children in Sao Vicente. The new housing structure
will be a simple block construction, taking three months to build.
Construction is scheduled to begin in July 2008.
