About me:
Hello I'm Michelle and I'm a Beth-O-Holic.This is a FAN PAGE ... thus I am not the artist. This is not an official Beth Hart page. I do not work for Beth or her management. This is for the enjoyment of all things Beth! Welcome newbies and seasoned rotten friends!
New album "SeeSaw" is out now!
Who I'd like to meet:
Los Angelena singer/songwriter Beth Hart is a survivor, a powerhouse, a woman with a rock and roll soul. Indeed a unique artist - genuine, honest, raw and real are words often used to describe her.
Beth is an internationally known, multi-genre artist with an intense stage presence. She has an astonishing voice and ability to connect and communicate with an audience. So versatile, her vocals range from powerful dirty growl to smooth, sultry and vulnerable.
Beth is a master at confessional songwriting. She lays herself bare in openly writing about her life including drug and alcohol addiction and bipolar disorder. Beth has been in recovery for years now and continues to draw on life's experiences for her songwriting. Her music has inspired countless numbers of fans. Beth's stories tell of the resiliency of the human spirit. She has the ability to create inspiring and life affirming songs no matter what the subject matter. Beth can break your heart and mend it again - all in one evening.
Beth has collaborated with Slash, Jeff Beck, Neal Schon and Dutch artist Born among others. In 2011 she recorded a collaboration album with Joe Bonamassa titled "Don't Explain." It is an outstanding offering of classic soul covers, updated yet paying homage to the originals. The album was met with critical and fan acclaim and nominated for Best Contemporary Blues Album of 2011 by the International Blues Foundation.
Beth and Joe have completed the recording process for a follow up to Don't Explain and the new album SeeSaw has been released. "Beth has been an absolute hidden gem. She has a beautiful voice. She's a fantastic singer, a lovely person. She’s the most brilliant-yet-overlooked singer of our time, in my opinion. I am more proud of this album than most anything I have done." - Joe Bonamassa
Beck said of Beth, "There's nobody who can hold a candle to her. I heard her voice on one of her CDs, and then I saw a performance in Holland that she gave, which was amazing, I mean, people's heads spun around."
Producer Kevin Shirley on recording Bang Bang Boom Boom: "This was one of the greatest studio experiences of my life. Beth is not just a phenomenal singer. She's a phenomenal writer and musician. I really think she could be one of the greats."
Beth and her husband Scott Guetzkow, also her road manager, currently live in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles.
Whatever you do, if you have a chance to experience Beth live - do it!
