Troy and Jason after many years of playing the local pubs and clubs as rockabilly bands Rock Cat and Tennessee Thunder, and playing parts in other local sydney rockabilly and rock n roll bands, and a few quite years away from music and constantly repeating the famous old blues brothers saying 'We got to get the band back together' And old fans and followers asking when they will make a return? If they where still playing gigs? They decided to form a new line up. Went on a search after many audtions, with other muso they finally, found Jonathan a English Gentleman and kick ass guitar player, who has a love for the guitar as well as rockabilly and rock n roll music. Who Troy and Jason instantly found common ground with Jonathan music abilities, Then along came the baby of the group and dark horse young 18 year old mitch with his long hair and heavy metal look, but don't be fooled for he loves rockabilly and rock n roll and awesome on the bass. With all 4 boys with there different personalities and looks. They all have one thing in common there music! And this is how we have HOTROD DELUXE READY TO ROCK AT A PLACE NEAR YOU. -

Hotrod Deluxe, We do covers but in our own style and rocked out way, from 80s to 50s rock and roll rockabilly rock country tunes, if we think it kicks ass in some shape or form we will play it, try not to stick to the same old lolly pop style of most club bands, so the chance of this band doing rockin robin, or rock around the clock, teddy bear, or do up tunes or the same old over played commercial over produced songs there is a pretty slim chance. This band likes to mix it up in there line up of songs and don't really stick to one genre or era of rock type music, but still have a line up of songs that are still well known wanna get you on the dance floor but won't bore you to death. Although you might find a few grey old ladies complaining about the noise running for the door and a few boot scooters looking rather disappointed cos they can't keep up, In Hotrod deluxes mind that ain't a bad thing. If you really are a cool true blue rocker from days gone by, you should know nothing to loud and nothing to fast to bop too there's a chance the bar staff are gonna cut ya off before the end of the night.
