RAPTURE RECONSTRUCTION - PLATINUM EDITION!!!
Made Records and iiO have been contacted many times on our website, through myspace, and in person, to release some of the classic versions of our Rapture Remixes. Now, for the first time, we bring you Rapture - Platinum Edition – a compilation of the 'Classic' remixes and 'Reconstruction' remixes, from the also available album - Reconstruction Time: The Best Of iiO Remixed. The original single release here in the US only spotted the album version and two remixes, and we wanted to create and bundle a double release that contained not only these classics, but also, on Disk 1, some brand new Rapture remixes from DJ's such as Starkillers, Hardware & Orue, Friscia & Lamboy, and Lametta, who already shot up to 3 on the Billboard charts.
As they were never available in the US, other than on the short CD-single from Universal Records, Disk Two contains all the 'classic' remixes from DJ's such as Armin Van Buuren – currently holding firm at number 1 in the prestigious public-voted DJ MAG Top 100, Paul Van Dyk, Deep Dish, and others. These are some of the best and unavailable or hard-to-come-by mixes around. But we did not just stop there; Disk Two is also enhanced with a special re-edited version of the original video, that some have called "reminiscent of Blade Runner."
Made Records is gearing up for a plethora of exciting releases, and Rapture - Platinum Edition (the commercial follow up to the limited edition Rapture 2007) is the precursor to a brand new iiO album we have been working on for the last year. It will be spectacular with many new songs and surprises!
