Having just finished recording the single "Stalker Potential (Watching You)" off of her upcoming album, it has received great feedback and is in full rotation in clubs all across Toronto. Born in Eastern Europe and growing up in Toronto, Canada, Ilana always exhibited a strong talent and passion for music. She began singing at the age of 10 and continued on to receive formal training in classical piano and voice at 12. Branching off, she started writing melodies and lyrics at 14 and by 16 undertook the production of her own material. In the years that followed, Ilana has been fortunate to have worked and collaborated with many local artists and producers. Working in diverse studio settings, she acquired the necessary knowledge that allowed her to build her own studio. Ilana has an extensive list of musical influences. She grew up listening to West Coast hip-hop. She also listens to dance, 80', rock and classical. "I sit in my lab trying to mix Eminem, Christina Aguilera, Dr. Dre and Michael Jackson just to see what happens. I'm a big fan of different, I never fit in with the regular crowd.
