Possessing abilities that encompass all aspects of music creation, Roxx is viewed as a natural force. Whether displayed through his keen freestyles and layered written raps, his undeniable presence in the booth, or ability to demand the stage in a live performance, it is evident that Jonny Roxx possesses a trinity of industry-sought strengths. .... Hailing from Montreal, and relocating to Toronto, which is also infamously known as “The Screw Face Capital” Roxx has quickly become a part of the local scene and instantly begun breaking through its confining borders and restrictive boundaries. In 2006 Roxx released “Keep Talking” produced by Spinz, which played in rotation on HOT97, Flow 93.5 and 91.5 TheBeat ; becoming his official entry into the game. After spending some time in the local circuit, Roxx went on to share stages with artists such as Kardinal Official, Choclair, The Clipse, Joe Buddens, and the dubbed “Mixtape Messiah” Chamillionaire. .... In 2007, Roxx was forced to pull away form music due to legal issues, but it was in 2008, while on house arrest that he formulated his first Mixtape, “The Bully.” Featuring the likes of Tona, Anaya Hayes, Rochester and JD Era, “The Bully” initiated quite a buzz and was highlighted on many mainstream medias including T.I’s website, ..streetcred.com.., ..hiphopcanada.com.. and ..hiphopdx.com... Once released off house arrest, the overwhelming recognition from the mixtape initiated a run of performances that spread across Canada. .... In 2009 Roxx released his comeback single entitled “Jump On” produced by August and T-Nyce, which ignited a new flame in Roxx’s already fiery career. “Jump On” landed him on Flow 93.5’s Steam Whistle Underground Artist of the day on more then one occasion, and was also featured on Flow’s Northen Touch segment. Roxx was later named one of Canada’s Top 20 artists, by POWER20 in the same year. With 2010 already in swing, Roxx is planning a summer release of a new project titled, “Shut Up & Listen” and has recently been named number two on Industry Magazines Top 25 Unsigned Canadian Artists. .... ..G.I.G Records.... With the recognition of his ability and talent, Roxx has established a team of individuals known as “G.I.G.” An acronym for “Get It Gang.” This name also bares witness to the blessings Roxx has thus far encountered, or his belief that “God Is Good.” This new engine of support consists of a talented graphic designer JessMadeIt, Video Director SP and MaineMan as management. All this coupled with a partnership with producer T-Nyce and exclusive project support from gifted mixing engineer AD, creative director and session engineer Sunny Diamonds; it is evident that Jonny Roxx is destined for success. ....
