Kathleen is a singer/songwriter based in Ireland.She was first introduced to the music business by county music promoter Jerry Mac.For two years Kathleen promoted many country independent artists via the internet all over europe.It was through this work she met her husband Clay Pierce.Whilst working on promotions Kathleen decided to attempt some songwriting... her current release Brand New Pair Of Wings has had more than 100000 plays worldwide on many sites on the internet.. Kathleen is currently working on a memorial site utelizing country music as a way of healing after the sudden death of her 16 year old neice Anna.. Brand New Pair Of Wings was the song Kathleen wrote two weeks after Annas death. www.memoriesoftheheart.webs.com Kathleen is a mother of seven young children all of whom play instruments and and sing as you will hear on the album.. Her husband Clay Pierce & Southernpride is also featured on the album singing an original song they wrote together "Heavens Door" along with many others he had written himself before they met. Kathleens music is influenced by Hank Williams, Hank Locklin,Ray Price,Tammy Wynette,and more recent artists such as her husband Clay Pierce & Southernpride, Dolly Parton Tanya Tucker Allison Krauss,Collin Raye,Doug Stone Clint Black and Vince Gill.. Her songwriting was greatly influenced by Tommy Barnes without his influence she would never have had the inspiration to write.
