    Whether they're heading off to New York, Texas, Toronto or overseas, Les Handclaps never leave home without these essential pieces of gear: a toy keyboard, a couple of iPods, an acoustic guitar and the outlines of their latest electro delirium. Thus begins the evolution of their next opus, the brainchild of their combined creative talents, feeding off their favourite elements: dance rhythms, catchy melodies and a carefree demeanor. That is the foundation of their musical elixir. Blending luscious organic sounds with synthesized ones so as to obtain the coveted makeup of their unique recipe. But the process is not complete without the performance; where the bellows and dance moves come to life. Part machine, part human, the bass and drums give off the explosive scent that the band members use to release a genuine and unparalleled energy. Ever present, Les Handclaps use every performance to enhance and intensify the delight they feel when choreographing, synchronizing and harmonizing their music; thus offering their adoring public a sweet taste of musical candy. __________________ Lorsqu'ils voyagent entre New York et Toronto, Les Handclaps pensent toujours à trimballer certains instruments essentiels: un mini-clavier jouet, des Ipods, une guitare sèche, et les esquisses des derniers délires électro qu'ils ont pondus. S'ensuivent les premières notes de leur prochain opus qui naîtra de ces expériences créatives, s'alimentant des ingrédients qu'ils préfèrent: rythmes dance, mélodies accrocheuses et attitude joviale constituent la base de cette panacée musicale. Le tout sera ensuite passé au synthétiseur et è la distorsion pour obtenir la texture voulue. Mais la recette n'est pas pleinement réalisée sans la performance où les cris et les mouvements se multiplient: mi-machines mi-humaines , la basse et la batterie dégagent des effluves dynamitées qui permettent aux membres du groupe de libérer une énergie franche et sans équivoque. Présents jusque dans leur sueur, Les Handclaps profitent de chaque spectacle pour fouetter et faire mousser le plaisir qu'ils ont à chorégraphier, à synchroniser et à harmoniser leur musique; ils partagent ainsi avec le public, aussi polyglotte soit-il, la dégustation réelle d'un bonbon sans prétention.
