"In-half" tells the story of a young woman from the 1920's who suffers from a broken heart. Desperate to forget her past lover, she wanders a carnival midway. She meets a magician who sedates her, and later on uses her as a part of his traveling magic show. Only after it is too late does she realize the tragic irony of her fate.

Bio

Lindy descends from East Vancouver’s folk/cabaret music scene and wows audiences with her stunning voice and unforgettable stage presence. She draws on eastern Roma influences with a smattering of folk/ traditional and a hint of bluegrass. Audiences are reeled into a cunning, tragic, and mysterious plot from one song to the next as Lindy embodies a truly unique and imaginative style of song writing. Take mesmerizing melodies, honky-tonk guitar, and a set of spoons . . . and you end up with the whimsical sounds of Lindy Gray. It seems she always has a trick or two up her sleeve, whether it’s an impromptu audience participatory yodeling session or sound effects on the singing saw and kazoo. Her theatrics and stage banter inspire laughter and awe. Lindy has collaborated with many talented Canadian artists such as Woodland Telegraph and the Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret. She has performed at venues all over Western Canada including: Herman’s Jazz Club, Treehouse Cafe, and Duncan’s Garage.
