.. .. .. .. .. .. The band Morte Aeterna is the brainchild of Marcel Heutink aka Alfr and was formed after the split-up of the Technical metal band Myhrra in 1997. Bassist/vocalist Beef went to God Dethroned and drummer Jos went to Frusthatred. Only both guitarplayers remained and decided to form a black metal band. They changed their names into Alfr and Lord Drackul. Shortly Bakvet entered, who was a very good friend of both members. After rehearsing together for 2 years, several bassplayers and vocalists joined and left the band. The band stopped for a while due to the fact that Lord Drackul could not continue because of his busy life. Early 2000 Alfr and Bakvet came together again and started playing again like they had never stopped. In March 2001, guitarplayer Carnagath joined the band. He used to play in Throatblood, a thrash/death metal band. After intensive rehearsing Damian joined as a singer. Unfortunately we had to fire him. In May 2002, Marco joined the band on vocals. With his comming, the first steady line-up was a fact. . In the beginning of 2003 we found a new singer called Skinpeeler (also in Grindminded). Because of him the band made a big progress , the band was finally ready to do some live action. And so we did ,and every show we did was a big succes. Morte Aeterna has played with Altar - The Monolith deathcult - Serenade of Darkness - I.N.R.I. - to elysium - Grindminded - Frusthatred - Unauthorized - massive Assault and many more. But the black Morte Aeterna curse wasn't over. Zillah quits begin 2004. So we had to find another bassplayer en we did , a friend of Skinpeeler joined begin 2004 , called Boldey and he was a damned good replacement for Zillah. But due to some problems Carnagath had to quit Morte aeterna in June 2004 and the band broke up. After 7 years of existance, Morte Aeterna was forced to stop doing what they were doing: ...5 people making brutal music. It was time to move on, break apart and go our own ways. Now after 6 year of silence i,m writing some songs again. I will put them online as soon as i can.
