I love to knit,when I have time that is.
I like studying Egyptology, Muay Thai, working out,to ride (I want a Norton, Indian or Triumph, I keep trying to get my friend David to give me his Harley but he says no so....)travel & basically just learn new things often! I'm not a typical female! I'm fiercely independent and opinionated and most of the time know what people are thinking before they do. Good people,good drink, and great weather = a really great time! Did I happen to mention that Ive got a great family that Im hoping to one day expand? My kids COMPLETELY RULE! I love intelligent people of all shapes and sizes and stimulating conversations!! I also love to read & enjoy the Cinema, especially Indi Films, & am a firm believer that knowledge is power! Education, not just the formal type, is a never ending process I just wish more people could understand that! I love George Clinton and cant ever get enough of Dr. Dre, yes I think he is one sexy ass man! Old rock, soul, blues, funk & disco are great! There are way toooo many to name from these categories! 60's music is also pretty cool. I find music from the 20s & 40s a bit interesting as well. I think country blows but I grew up listening to 50's and western from my older siblings and parents, so Cash, Patsy, and Pride are cool, but thats about as far as I can bend.

Pootie Tang, I also love dark films, Requiem for a dream, Amistad, The Woodsman, Control, Sweeny Todd, Pans Labyrinth, Fight Club, Walk Hard, Hedwig, Short Bus, Ravenous, Reservoir Dogs, Twin Peaks, Sir Quinten T flicks, Martial Art Films, Asylum, Memento, Breaking Waves, I love Emily Watson, Taxi Driver, A cook, the thief, his wife and her lover, one of the best films ever made! The Piano, Piano Teacher, Naked Lunch, Feed, Vanilla Sky, Boxing Helena, Grease, Underworld, Closer, Snatch, CSA, Norbit, Betty Davis, Marlene Dietrich, Katherine Hepburn, Dorthy Dandritch, Spencer Tracy because he is the best actor of all time. I love Rock Hudson because I believe he is the sexiest male actor ever. John Waters is a genius. David Lynch Films are brilliant! Foreign is always good. Staaaarrrr Wars, Chewys my main man, ok well second, ok no third... and anything Keanu. Independents are super duper. I love the Royal Tannenbaum's, Rushmore, etc., I dig, dare I write this, Musicals~ Yes I do. Moulin Rouge, Across the Universe, Xanadu is my favorite of all time. I love horror, B-movies, scifi and action too! I think this makes me as my friend Joye puts it: A N-EEEEERRRRRRRR-D! hahahaha

First some shows that are canceled and shouldn't have been ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, Moonlight and Starved!!! Sci-Fi like the new Dr. Who, Torchwood, and Dave Chappell. All things Law and Order, all things knitting, and Supernatural. Wire in the Blood, New Amsterdam, Dexter, Prison Break, Rescue Me, Oz, I loved that series!! Medium and Nip Tuck of course, Sunny in Philly and Serial Killer documentaries. I just love learning about human nature and how primitive we actually are. I love IFC and the Sundance channel, TCM is also a plus. Discovery (ID) and The History(International)Channel are quite interesting as well. They always lead me to the Internet or the library to find out if what they're saying is true. I don't mind catching a little anime every now and again either.Books

Wow me huh?? I'm pretty open & easy going. Most friends say I'm a great listener,& people are generally quite comfortable with me. I think because I grew up in the church I have those religious ties that bind at times. Its kind of a mixed blessing I suppose because it has really given me the base that I believe has allowed me to become who I am today, giving me the drive to achieve a pretty strong educated balance regarding life,people,& success.

I am currently in graduate school to get M.S.E to become a School Psychologist in a few years. I am active when it comes to human rights(especially when women,children and the disabled are involved) & equality. I also enjoy working with different people & organizations in ensuring that these goals are achieved.
