Mutilated Soul

The band was established in Cagliari (Italy) in late 2003 by bassist Maurizio Serreli and guitar player Nicola Spaziani with the aim to combine fast and aggressive riffs with slow and heavy parts, all in the US death metal style.
The original line-up comprised singer Daniele Pruner, guitarists Nicola Spaziani and Mirko Vacca, bassist Maurizio Serreli and Giacomo Macis on drums.
In February 2005 Giacomo left the band due to personal reasons, at the same time the band spreads a promo-cd with 2 tracks, recorded by Pietro Pisu at Music Studios in Quartu Sant'Elena, Cagliari.
Between August and September 2005: MUTILATED SOUL enter the AudioStudio (Sestu, Cagliari) to record the first official debut "Decomposition" with Raphael Saini (Chaoswave, Blu Infinito) as session drummer. The cd was mixed at the Selani Studios (Vader, Behemoth) by Adam Kuc.
In October 2005 Stefano Spanu joins MUTILATED SOUL on drums and the band begun to have some shows.
In March 2006 "Decomposition" was officially released.
The band played as opening act for IMPALED NAZARENE and MASTER at the Transilvania Live in Cagliari in 2006, NECRODEATH, DRILLER KILLER and MISERY INDEX at the Titty Twister in 2007.
In the summer 2007 the band decides to separate ways with guitarist Mirko Vacca.
In March 2008, after few months with a 4 pieces line-up, Nicola Olla (We Are Building Ruins, ex Sanisickation) joined the band as a new guitar player.
The 19th April 2008 Mutilated Soul played, for the second time, with NECRODEATH.
In August 2008, after 5 years together, the band announces that Maurizio Serreli is no more the bassist of Mutilated Soul. The decision has been taken friendly, it has been just a question of musical priorities. The name of the substitute was Alessandro Farci (Verbo Nero, Cold Empire, Accabbadora).
From the summer 2009 the band is only formed by Nicola Spaziani (guitars) and Daniele Pruner (vocals).
In May 2010 the band announces a new drummer, is Marco Porcu from the band Crowned in Thorns.
In July 2010 the band complete the line-up with Riccardo Sunda, also with the band My Hope Is Dead, on bass.
