Myagi aka Andrew Mavor is one of North America's main ambassadors to the world of dance music. From sunrise sets in Australia and packed clubs in the metropolises of China to rocking boat parties in the old heart of Paris, nude beaches in California and a slew of even crazier settings, Myagi's sets have become renowned as one of a kind experiences not to be missed.

Just as comfortable on a festival stage as in a club, Myagi's tour schedule sees him through a wide variety of countries each year with nothing but glowing responses. His sound has expanded to include a wide variety of genres, from progressive house and acid to funky breaks and big banging electro, all perfectly fused together to wring sweat out of even the most discerning dance floor.

In the studio, Myagi has done remixes for indie bands and hip hop stars, for dance music legends like The Crystal Method and Phil Hartnoll of Orbital, for up and coming artists and for stalwarts of the underground. His music has been in video games, tv shows, films, and nearly every other media format available. He has released over 40 records on various labels through the years, and done exclusive radio sets for shows on the BBC, CBC, JJJ, and innumerable other fm and internet radio stations.

His debut album "3 Years Of Sunrise" has been dubbed "an uplifting electronic masterpiece" by DJ Mag earning a 4.5/5, and has been compared to the classic works of acts like Leftfield, BT, or even the Chemical Brothers.

Founded in 2007 by Canada's broken beat noise icon Andrew Mavor (aka Myagi), Pop And Lock's broad spectrum of sound touches on breaks, house, electro, techno and everything in between.

The label started off by releasing (in conjunction with Freddy Fresh's Howlin' records) Myagi's debut long player "3 Years Of Sunrise" which was called a "masterpiece" by DJ Mag and got play on radio stations of every variety.

Pop And Lock's releases have been both critically acclaimed and have topped sales charts, and with remixes by Nick Thayer, Malente, Cut La Roc, Ill.Gates, Dub Pistols, Groove Diggerz and more, the sound of Pop And Lock is penetrating dancefloors across the globe.
