Bio
Back in July of ’98 at the infamous Jackson Street Studios in Oakland, CA, two young musicians meet having two major common bonds, classic hot roddin' muscle cars & the love of old school riff-rock. Although they were both in different bands at the time, they realized their common interest in music & began jamming together. With Rob Tucker (Toledo) on drums & Greg Philpott (~G) on guitar, these jam sessions turned out some great tunes, and their first EP entitled GT. Towards the end of 07 the band is filled out by Rob Campbell (RC) on vocals and Oli taking over on bass. In early '08 Orbiter 500 took to the stage, played with some great bands, and released their second EP "GT-II". .. Orbiter 500 takes you to a place where life is all about surfing, skating, snowboarding, muscle cars & of course rock & roll. The guys are taking it full throttle now in the studio recording their first full length album entitled XL. Keep checking back for more updates. In the meantime, enjoy the riff-rocking sounds of Orbiter 500. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. ............Generate your own contact table!.... -
