The mandate of the Ottawa Indie Co-op is to give our fine city a virtual meeting place where visual artists, photographers, filmmakers, musicians, writers, dancers, hipsters, actors,multimedia artists, art dealers and promoters can meet communicate collaborate and celebrate. Dedicated to nurturing Ottawa's independent arts, the Co-op hopes to help Ottawa's fragmented art scenes converge to finally put Ottawa on the map as a viable arts city. Born out of a do-it-yourself ethic the co-op is working towards making it easier for artists of all kinds to get involved in Ottawa's independent culture.
