She used to close her eyes & dream away,
Yet lately she's been encountering much
Negativity from the one's she calls her family,
She's sacrificed more then they know,
She's broken ties from those who
Tried to hinder her in any way,
Faced struggles they know nothing about,
She's hid the pain,
She's hid her tears,
From those she cares for the most,
She has a dream & she won't let go,
No matter who ever may want to oppose,
She knows she can't give up,
She sees the bigger picture,
Discovered her true self when writing
To a beautiful melody,
Positioned her self in an industry
That's so quick to forget & move to the next,
She's not where she wants to be yet but
She soon will be,
With the drive & ambition needed
To obtain success,
She knows her current circumstances
Is only temporary,
Any thing in life that's truly worth
Obtaining never comes easy,
So please let her be,
Allow her to close her eyes for
One more moment,
