.. Roachmouth Records is located in an old house on an old street in central downtown Toronto and is a music production space that caters to local independent musicians and songwriters. This has been home-base for owner and music producer, Mike Rocha for the past 3 years.

His work covers a wide range of styles and his role in any given project continually morphs to fit the requirement. As vague as that may sound, Mike's skill is as a clean-up guy; someone brought in to develop projects and ideas through to completion.

The work space is not gigantic recording studio, nor is it a simple writing room, but it does fall somewhere in the middle, and its comfortable 3-room space is frequently used as central point for coordinating large creative projects.

Here are two common styles of work that happen here: - Writing Sessions: Usually a solo artist has written a collection of songs - or maybe just one song - and has taken it as far as they can on their own. What may be desired is the addition of extra instrumentation, the recording of a better demo just to keep on hand, or just a place to relax and write. - Full Production: Very frequently Mike will move the main recording phase to local (and occassionally international) studios that are known for a particular sound, then finish up additional tracking and mixing back at RMR.
