About me:
On the border of Chicago and Oak Park our new facility with fully licensed artists from around the country is now open. As a company, we have our artist submit yearly physical exams and blood tests to assure our clients the utmost safety while being tattooed or pierced in our salon. By training our artists as well as apprentices to the guidelines set forth by other states that have more stringent legislation towards the body art and modification field, we feel we can deliver the safest environment, given the high standards we set not only for ourselves but for our clients. Though Illinois does not have licensing legislation set in place yet, we are proud to state that we have signed on an artist that is presently a fully licensed tattoo artist by the state health department of Hawaii. The building is a 3700+ square foot facility that will start off having 7 workstations. Everything in the building will be NEW. We have 5 artists that have signed on and we are presently looking to fill the 2 remaining positions. At completion we will be able to accommodate as many as 13 workstations, or convert the space to retail. The artists that have signed on have at a minimum of 5 years experience in the business, are fully licensed and trained in basic CPR. Each artist also has up to date bloodborne pathogens certificates and are registered with the state health department.
