• Bio

Living in a city with around 2.2 million, we met in the height of summer. This is an electric time in Nagoya, Japan; everything becomes heady and sticky. It's at this time that the Semis (cicadas) wake up, make their venture out from down under and are released like momentary angels from their alien-like shell. In parks and trees in all nooks and crannies of the city, Semis are at their peak of deafening sound-making activity. Up till that point we were all enjoying various musical exploits and experiences. However, we were brought together and sought out together, and began our music dream and meanderings. We fit together and were excited by this. Since August 2007, we have been flying together, playing in parks, cafes, live houses, bars in Nagoya and Nagano.
The music we have been making together draws upon music we've been seduced by, and in essence is varied in genre and sound. The stories we write come from snippets of our lives rolled together to make a picture we all relate to. An enthusiasm and magic love for what we're doing, drives the sound, makes us want to be able to do this only, and holds us here, for fear of losing something we recognise as precious and fun.
