    ..Single Car Garage is a roots rock trio formed out of a recording project in 2006 .. .. ....Mike Foottit is a guitarist/singersongwriter with two solo albums and a third in progress. He has played at festivals in northern BC as a solo act but generally sticks close to home with work and family. Mike writes and arranges all of the original songs played by SCG. .... ....Blaine Powel is a well accomplished percussionist originating from the Vancouver area. His accomplishments are many including touring, recording and production. He was one of the original owners of 'Drums Only' in Vancouver. His masterful control and rhythm keeps it all together for Single Car Garage!.... ....Dean Cherkas is a seasoned professional musician with over 30 years of touring, recording and production work. He stems from the Saskatchewan prairies and still has the love for cold (a bit crazy eh!). Dean has had the privilege of sharing the stage with many Canadian musical icons such as Tom Cochrane, Lindsay Mitchell (Prism), Johnny Ferreira (Colin James Saxophonist), Marko Ibarra (Doucette Drummer), Murray Porter, the list goes on! .... ....A BIG THANK YOU TO DICK MYNEN of TDB AND JIM VANDER PLOEG, OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHER OF CN CENTRE, PRINCE GEORGE, BC FOR THE PICTURES OF THE BAND....
