Solvi's current full-length album Self Affliction will have it's Canadian release date on November 16th, and will be available through Bright Side Records / Sonic Unyon.
We are currently writing and recording another album. The first single from that album will be available very soon.
Obviously, this means that we now have a label representing us in the Great White North.
Though we are still recovering from the recent massive flooding in Nashville and are without a bunch of our gear, we are going to beg/borrow/steal whatever we need to play on May 21st at Woodys in Evansville, IN opening for Papa Roach. We'll have you know that tickets are a mere 25$ and you can contact us to purchase them. You should be there. Seriously.
word is quickly getting around, so i figured that i had better address things before any rumours start. our drummer, caleb, had decided to leave solvi and pursue an education at the musicians institute in los angeles. the immediate ramifications are that we will be playing our last show for some time on thursday, january 21st at the rutledge in nashville. all of our other upcoming shows in illinois, ohio, west virginia, and tennessee have been canceled. there are no hard feelings amongst the band members and we all wish caleb the best in his endeavours. we will all remain friends. the rest of us have decided to take a hiatus and see where things lead. that is the only decision that has been made thus far. we will keep you posted on any further developments.
