    The Earthbound was formed in Athens in 1998 by former members of The Last Drive, Honeydive, Rockin' Bones and Engine-V. After playing locally for about a year, including a slot in Rockwave festival in 1999, the band recorded their debut 7'' single The Valley/Riverside Song/Tercera Cancion, released with Fractal Press magazine. The Earthbound signed to Trade Records and recorded their self-titled debut album with producer Jim Spliff. It came out in 2000 and featured 13 songs, including three covers of songs by Kyuss, Woody Guthrie and Guillermo Portaballes that showcased the band's diverse influences. In 2001 they recorded the soundtrack for the film STAKAMAN by Antonis Kafetzopoulos, which was released by M Records, and Alex K and Thanos A worked on the soundtrack for SOSE ME, released a few months later. The Earthbound spent the next eighteen months touring. They also took part in two benefit concerts for the campaign Escuelas para Chiapas and in June 2003 played at the demonstration against the EU summit in Thessaloniki. In September 2003 Louis joined on trumpet and percussion. In 2004 they signed to Sirius (the record company formed by Manos Hadjidakis) and started working on their third album, BROTHERHOOD OF THE DOG, once again with producer Jim Spliff. The album was released later the same year and featured 11 songs (including an Ennio Morricone cover). In early 2005 they played two gigs in Cyprus and recruited a second trumpet player, Johnny Mato. The eight-piece band contributed a track to the Spinalonga compilation In The Junkyard vol. II and continued touring and writing songs for their next album. After the release of their forth album "La Guerra Final" in the summer of 2008 (The Lab records LAB004) and several gigs for about a year,the band split up. thank you for a wonderful trip...... .. .. .. ..

    To ”3rd Day” είναι διαθέσιμο για παραγγελίες στο online shop της Inner Ear.Οι Illegal Operation είναι μία ιδιαίτερη μουσική συμμορία με το ένα πόδι στους βάλτους του Μισισσιπή και το άλλο στους βάλτους της Αθηναϊκής νύχτας. Για πάνω από μια δεκαετία απολαμβάνουν να ταξιδεύουν στο εξώτερο μουσικό σύμπαν και επιστρέφοντας να μοιράζονται τις περιπέτειές τους, ακροβατώντας με μοναδική ικανότητα ανάμεσα στα blues, το rock και τον πειραματισμό.

    Last release of this punk-rock band from Germany formed in 1992 at  ¾ by Greek immigrants .
    Tracks from cd singles-7 '' singles - compilations + cover of "Addiction (Ethismos)" from the greek punk band Gulag + DVD with all their last concert!  Αll tracks are remastered.
    Began to play in 1992 in Düsseldorf,Germany. The band members were: Ntimis, Miltos, Spyros and Kai. Their music was a mixture of melodic punk with hardcore bursts and social but also very personal lyrics. There aren’t too many bands that have used Greek, English and German lyrics, without any compromise in language expression. One small example is the song "Kaϊafas" which refers to the fire that burned the forest with the same name in the Peloponnese region and within 1 minute and 20 seconds is described this very sad incident in a most personal way. Also the musical and aesthetic limitations that most of the times exists in punk music are out of the worries of the band. Children playing on the cover, comics and now a rabbit! As Spyros wrote to us, when he sent the cover art for the fisrt time: “ The tired looking rabbit fits Free Yourself , because it symbolises the hunted animal, the nature, but also the joy of life and speed. It rests now before they hunt it again, hopefully without any luck for the hunters ... ... ...» 
    They played several concerts in Switzerland, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain and France. They dispanted at 2008 with the release of a cd single with three tracks on 250 copies which is out of print, but now are included on this release.
