The Lonely Astronauts came together in the summer of 2006 as a touring band for Joseph Arthur's, 'Nuclear Daydream'. With JA on lead vox/gtr, Jen Turner and Kraig Johnson on guitars/keys, Sibyl Buck on bass and Greg "G. Wiz" Wieczorek on drums they found an instant chemistry and began writing songs together on the road. Immediately following that tour they recorded, 'Let's Just Be' which was released in April of 2007. Since then, the group has toured throughout the US, Canada, & Europe and released their 2nd full-length album, 'Temporary People' on September 30, 2008.
Happy New Year!, first of all and hope you had a great holiday. I'm just dropin' by to say hi and keep in touch. I have some new music on my page, It's my third album and it's all acoustic guitar. I also just uploaded a whole new dot com too, soo anyway, hope your havin' a good time.
i am requesting "candy and cars" and "radio euphoria" & "lovely cost" to be played live on saturday. think you could indulge one of those requests, please? i love you guys. looking forward to finally seeing jen play again. :)
