Just a few years ago Todd was having success on the Canadian opera scene, singing roles with several opera companies across Canada. This was closely followed by two years touring North America as one third of opera crossover group Romanza. But the more Todd sang classical music, the more he felt a need for a creative outlet on a more personal level. While on the road Todd began to write songs and lyrics for what has become his debut solo EP, "Todd Jang". The creative process of transforming an idea or a lyric into a complete and sing-able song proved to be just the outlet he had been looking for. Showing little trace of Todd’s classical background his debut disc marks his arrival as a versatile and powerful pop vocalist. Piano heavy ballads are infused with smooth R&B, Soul and Jazz to create a sound that is all Todd Jang. Are You Listening?
