Bio:

Originally from Montgomery Alabama, I've lately been spending lots of time in Nashville when I can. I am a BMI affiliated songwriter, and an NSAI member as well as a Regional Chapter Coordinator in Montgomery, AL for NSAI.

I mostly cowrite, so if you would like to try it out next time we both are in Nashville at the same time, contact me. My musical skills grow daily, but I have been told that I bring so much more lyrically and have killer hooks!

Influences:

This is hard since all music influences me. To give you a scary idea of where my influences come from I still love to watch old musicals, I knew who The Tubes were before they hit commercially with She's a Beauty, the first album I ever bought myself was Hotel California, the first song I ever learned to play on the guitar (in early 2006) was Pat Dailey's 'Perfect Woman' aka 'Rich, Young, Dumb, Nymphomaniac' (my wife didn't talk to me for a few days after I said "HEY! I finally learned a song, wanna hear it?"), my grandfather use to sing old country songs on his carport that I thought he was making up but I have now learned those were songs by artists back in the 40's and 50's, I had a KISS album collection, I have learned that growing up in Alabama all my life does make me a redneck which does make me appreciate southern rock/country more, if you are still reading this then you need to find a real hobby, myspace is not a hobby, I sometimes fart really loud while making love and blame it on the dogs, I don't drink yet the first song I demoed was about a guy with a Drinking Problem, I drank enough in college to never have to drink ever again in this lifetime and the next, I'm rambling now and saying nothing about musical influences, I've never been to Spain but I kinda like the music, I thought the song "Amy" was saying "Hey Me, what you want to do" which leads me to wonder if I need therapy for being so egocentric when I was young, oedipus smedipus and what was Snow White doing living with 7 dwarfs? I am OCD about my toilet paper rolling from the top and I can't stand it when it is the other way. I do suffer from AAADD - Age Advanced Attention Deficit Disorder which again probably explains why this isn't about music anymore, I'm here to say I really was a Chiquita Banana in a previous life, I still remember how to do the big-fig-newton including the tricky part, and I would rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
