    Biography Urbancowboy (not a typo) is singer songwriter Andre Chevarie. This Moncton N.B. native pulls his inspiration from a time where music was filled with hues of loneliness, of suffering and of passion. This journey began when this artist felt the ever-increasing need to find out what made Rock tick. That's where he met the Blues. Its influence can be heard in his melancholic lyrics. Urbancowboy is Chevarie's latest musical project; however, it is not his first. He has performed in Montreal's FestiBlues (2002), as well as the Tremblant International Blues Festival (2006). He has also performed with Acadian rock band Zero Celsius and has contributed back vocals to Michel Cusson's Les Legendes Fantastiques soundtrack. Discography Urbancowboy - self titled debut album. Released on the 18th of May 2010, Urbancowboy's debut album is also a first for Disco Fairy Records. Since it's release, the album has gotten radio play on several campus and community radio stations all over Canada. In the week of the 21st of May, it charted #3 on Fredericton's 97.9FM CHSR's Top Canadian Albums on the Indie Morning Wake-Up Call. And in July, it charted as the #9 Blues album in Kamloops, 92.5FM CFBX.
