One TouchWith your first touch,
I was awoken from a sleep that wouldn't end.
Then that touch became a kiss,
That kiss opened eyes that had been blinded by hurt.
With eyes that could see once again,
That kiss became love.
And that love sustained the soul of a man,
Who had believed love was no longer possible.
The possibilities became endless with that love,
As time is endless..
With one touch,
You brought a man back from the
Cold darkness of death,
And into the world of LOVE...
From Darkness to LightFrom Dark to Light
From the thundering sounds of loneliness,
Come the sound of one held dear.
Reaching out to rescue a sinking
Soul from solitude,
With words of care and of promises made
Help create a foundation of love.
No longer with will one small light battle
The encroaching darkness,
But two small flames join
To create a power surging with hope.

The Sounds Of Lost Love
Once raging, the sounds of the thundering heart
are much fainter now.
Quieted violently by the piercing words
of one so desired.
Tears of depression roll
over tattered cheeks, as the sounds of
lost love echo throughout the
caverns of a distraught mind.
Wounded deeply, the soul
sinks into submission.
While the deathly numbness of solitude
creeps up, overtaking the body.
He is left to die, all alone, in
his damp, dark world.
The lost soul would remain just that, lost.
Left to roam this pitiful
merciless world forever.
