    Check out which artists inked new label deals this week, including The Acacia Strain and Daughter.

    The Acacia Strain has joined Rise Records. The band will release a new disc via the label in October. The press release notes, “These 11+ year veterans from western Massachusetts are ready to dive into the next phase and are happy to have found a home with Rise where they feel they will be well taken care of and continue to smash faces with their new material.” Check out one of the band’s past hits below:

    Rumor has it that Omarion and Ma$e are signing with Maybach Music Group. According to The Source, a representative close the label says Omarion may sign with the label headed by Rick Ross. “Yes, I think its safe to say Omarion is MMG,” he told The Source. “I don’t want to let no cats out the bag but we’ll see what’s good with Ma$e.” Stay tuned for more on this one.

    Daughter has signed with 4AD, following in the footsteps of recent signees Grimes and Purity Ring. Check out our “One to Watch” feature on the U.K. group here.

    Erika Spring, singer for Au Revoir Simone, has signed with Cascine Records. The label will release her debut solo EP on July 10. The disc includes Spring’s previous solo single, “6 More Weeks,” which came out in 2011 after Au Revoir Simone member Annie Hart’s pregnancy put the band on hold. Check out the single below:

    Yep Roc Records has added Eleni Mandell to its roster. The singer will release a new album, I Can See the Future, produced by Joe Chiccarelli (The Shins, The Strokes, White Stripes), on July 10 via the label. In a press release the singer said her album’s title was taken from visiting a psychic. She noted, “She asked, ‘Are you a musician or a poet?’ And she described my music in this incredible way that made a lot of sense to me.”
