This week, a Moscow court declared the video of Pussy Riot performing their controversial punk prayer in The Cathedral Of Christ The Saviour to be “extremist,” so they decided to ban the ability to access the video inside of Russia. Music and censorship have a long history, so we thought we’d mention ten more famous artists who have been silenced over the years.

The big collaboration news this week is the fact that Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne have reunited for her track “High School,” which will be one of five new songs from her upcoming album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded — The Re-Up. If you thought Minaj was all glitter and pop these days, it’s refreshing to hear her get down and dirty with Weezy.
