One night in May 2005 producer Colin Stewart (Black Mountain, Pretty Girls Make Graves) invited Great Aunt Ida, P:ANO, Veda Hille and a handful of friends into the Hive Studio to record some songs with the 60's Spector "Wall of Sound" in mind. This decision was likely aided by the fact that he had just recieved two huge vintage plate reverbs and was anxious to try them out. The songs recorded on this night were so surprising and fun to make that about a year later Nick Krgovich (P:ANO) came up with a new set of songs and with the help of many dear friends they set to work with the same "let's run through it, then hit record" idealogy. "Maintenant" is the result of that night and that weekend.
Every time that we listen & write music... play an instrument... dance... act in a play... or work in some audio/image/video engineering process... something is healing inside...
When we share it with friends... something is healing all over...
