MIST037 YOUNG 12" by MY DISCO
My Disco and Mistletone proudly present a limited edition (500 copies worldwide) of a cosmic new My Disco jam entitled YOUNG on 12″ vinyl. YOUNG is a volatile, mindboggling excursion into the outer realms of My Disco’s dalliance with German minimalism, clocking in at 10:50. The B-side (duration 10:41) is a remix by Qua which warps the transmissions of YOUNG into sublime rhythmic frequencies. YOUNG was engineered and mixed by Scott Horscroft at Big Jesus Burger Studios, assisted by JP, and mastered by Jason Ward at Chicago Mastering Service. YOUNG 12″ vinyl is now available on mail order and will be instores from March 5 on Mistletone Records through Inertia. The A-side, Young by My Disco, is now available on iTunes. The B-side (Qua remix) is exclusive to the vinyl edition.

MIST036 TEEN DREAM by BEACH HOUSE
Recorded in upstate New York, in a converted church called Dreamland with producer/engineer Chris Coady (who has worked with TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blonde Redhead, and a bunch of others) Teen Dream is Beach House's third album on Mistletone, and their Sub Pop debut. The new album gives voice to a full universe of unbridled imagination, and the manifestation of Teen Dream has been a welcomed and all-consuming obsession for Beach House the past 9-12 months. The limited edition deluxe pressing of Teen Dream is packaged with a companion DVD featuring a video for each song on the album, each by a different director.

MISTO21 High Places by High Places
High Places’ self-titled debut was recorded by Rob and Mary in their apartment in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene neighborhood between January and May of 2008. They employed a wide variety of instruments to make this album ranging from the more traditional: 12 string guitar, banjo, shakers and rattles, bass, bells and Kalimba, to the inventive: plastic bags, mixing bowls, wood blocks and other common household objects. The album has a contemplative and organic lyrical tone emphasized by the themes of goodness manifested in nature, hardship and wonder as necessities to human existence and growth.
