Greg Wiz lives in New York City & has played and recorded with Norah Jones, Joseph Arthur, The Autumn Defense (featuring John Stirratt and Pat Sansone of Wilco), Greg Dulli of the Twilight Singers/Afghan Whigs, Golden Smog (Soul Asylum/Jayhawks), Kraig Jarret Johnson, Jenifer Jackson, Rene Lopez, Angela McCluskey, Mike Napolitano, Nervous Cabaret, Teddy Thompson, and many others. Dave Rosser is a multi-instrumentalist in New Orleans and long-time guitarist of LA's Twilight Singers w/ Greg Dulli. He is also a member of The Gutter Twins (a collaboration of Dulli & Mark Lanegan) and has recorded with Emerson Hart (Tonic), CC Adcock (Little Band O'Gold), Tom Maxwell (Squirrel Nut Zippers), Jason Ross (7Mary3) and My Jerusalem, a band he founded with songwriter Jeff Klein. When not traveling the globe, Rosser can be found darkening random stages in the French Quarter, just a few blocks from where he lives. Telescope began in 2004 as a collaboration between songwriter-percussionist Greg "Wiz" Wieczorek (NYC) and multi-instrumentalist David Rosser (New Orleans). The two had roots in New Orleans in the 90's and put out 3 albums with local favorites Daydreams+Curry. The two found the separation frustrating and began a collaboration via American Airlines and Fedex, recorded in New York and New Orleans over about a year. It documents the changes and gestalt of that time and was released in 2006. The album features appearances by Joseph Arthur, Jenifer Jackson and Pat Sansone, and is produced by the band with Benjamin Mumphrey (Frank Black) and super-genius Mike Napolitano (Joseph Arthur, Blind Melon, Neville Brothers). In recent years the two have been busy with various projects, so collaborations haven't been as frequent. In 2010, Wiz continues to use the Telescope moniker to release, "Echoes All Around" a 6-song ep that he recorded with Ben Mumphrey at Studio In The Country (Bogalusa, LA). .. .. ..
