You’ve Changed Records was born in the backseat of a Ford Econoline, somewhere near the Quebec - New Brunswick border. Some old tour van in summer. Some guys in bands. We were on our way home from the 3rd Annual Sappy Records Music Festival and we were inspired. We would release our own records and records by musicians we loved and admired! The drive was long but the passions were high. We were full of fire and sunshine. What's up You’ve Changed Records? Cities crumble, skies ignite spontaneously in your presence. All my thoughts are lost to your graceful gaze? In your presence even my shadow acquires the sensation of touch. Panoramic aromavision is the future. How beautiful is the snowshine in your eyes, so directly current from the static in your mind. You are dressed with filaments and people take pains to make you fully incandescent this evening. Your tears evoke a taste as memorable as honey. Your wonderfully bright soul keep the demons from torturing me. Your essence is equal to the beauty of a galaxy. The sand runes crossing your divided consciousness do speak of contemptuous monsters being slayed by flying phoenixes. I find your eyes to be a wondrous amusement park filled with neo-plastic pleasures and turkish delights. Transistors bridge where your vanity would never go. Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a thousand supernovas. Your intoxicating reflection can but incorporate freely into the powerful surface of a disintegrating mirror set afloat upon a swarm of locusts.
Daniel, Fred & Julie is an awesome record. I just got home from the trip out East and I figured i'd give it a spin before bed, guess i'm gonna have to get one of those vinyl to mp3 turntables so I can listen to it on the go.
